Lifeline to Marionette
Michelle Seko is a gifted, young pianist and international celebrity who is hopelessly bound by the people who control her. Michelle longs to sever the strings, but realizes that even if she succeeds in breaking free from them, she feels she can never be free of her past or her addiction to heroin. She fears that leaving her public life will return her to a life of loneliness and rejection—a life she lived as a child and fought to escape from. When her socialite mother mysteriously dies and her estranged father, renowned composer Alexander Sekovich, comes searching for her, the shadow of Michelle’s past looms over her. And when the circumstances of her life culminate to nothing more than an existence she longs to be free of, she finds her freedom in the most unlikely form.
